- Red or pinto cooked beans -- 800g
- Onion -- two big ones
- Ripe juicy tomaoes -- a bunch
- Bits of pig meat -- 500g
- Chorizo -- half
- Garlic -- one clove
- Carrots -- 1 or 2
- Lurel leaves -- 1 or 2
- Chili pepper -- 1
Season the meat with a little salt and pepper. Stir fry the laurel, onions, garlic and carrot in some in olive oil. Add and the bits of meat, cook at high flame to quickly roast the outside.
Add tomatoes and beans, lower flame and let it cook. Serve with white rice or bread.
Best served with Alentejo wine.
